Grand Harbour Cruise
Combine city tour & harbour cruise
If you’d like to add a harbour cruise after your city tour – no problem. You can book the city tour in advance. The harbour cruise, or the combo ticket, can be added directly at our bus.
The tickets are valid for the so-called “Grand Harbour Cruises” – in Hamburg, this traditionally means a tour of about one hour.
You’ll receive a voucher from us, which you can redeem directly at the Landungsbrücken. Most local operators accept it. Simply walk up to one of the ships at the pier. If an operator has no seats left or doesn’t accept the voucher, just go to the next one – you’ll usually find a suitable departure quickly.
Convenient: our main starting point is Landungsbrücken – and that’s exactly where the harbour cruises depart. So you can switch straight from the city tour onto a boat.
You have the choice: travel either with the larger passenger ships or with the smaller barges. The passenger ships mainly cruise the newer part of the harbour – towards the Köhlbrand Bridge and the large container terminals. The smaller barges can – depending on the water level – also pass through the canals of the Speicherstadt.
Please note: whether the barges can enter the Speicherstadt depends on the tide. At very low water levels, the passage is not possible. Around the lowest water level (about half an hour before and after), barges usually do not enter the Speicherstadt. You can easily check tide times online.
