The easiest way to board is at our main starting point at Landungsbrücken (Pier 4) in Hamburg.

All tours start there, and the buses are ready for boarding about 30 minutes before departure. This gives you plenty of time to board comfortably and find a good seat on the double-decker.

Boarding is also possible at all stops along the route. However, the most comfortable boarding experience is directly at Landungsbrücken.

At Landungsbrücken (Pier 4), it's usually enough to be at the bus about 5 to 15 minutes before departure.

On weekends, we recommend arriving about 15 minutes early.

On high-demand days – e.g. on bridge days, Whit Sunday, or German Unity Day – it's best to arrive about 30 minutes early.

Tickets are available online in our ticket shop or directly at the bus at Landungsbrücken (Pier 4).

Tickets purchased online can simply be shown on your phone or brought as a printout.

When buying at the bus, both cash and card payment are accepted.

The complete tour takes about 90 minutes.

If you hop off along the way and continue later, the total duration extends accordingly.

Please note that travel time may also increase depending on traffic.

Yes, you can interrupt your sightseeing tour and simply continue with one of the next buses.

Yes, you have a day ticket and can continue using the buses even after the tour – as long as you don't board too late in the afternoon.

When it's busy, it's best to stay seated and not hop off – this way you keep your seat on top of the bus.

After the tour, you can also take one of our buses back to the city centre later.

The ticket is valid until the end of the operating day. Please check the current schedules for details.

With live commentary, a tour guide accompanies you on board throughout and guides you personally through the tour – often with additional stories and current impressions.

With the audio guide, you hear professionally recorded information about the sights. The commentary is played automatically via GPS at the relevant points during the journey. Occasionally, a tour guide is also on board during audio guide tours and provides live commentary, or the driver gives individual tips over the microphone. This way you also get personal insights.

Yes, our buses are equipped for this. Ramps allow comfortable boarding with wheelchairs or pushchairs – even non-foldable pushchairs can be brought along.

Please note: One of our buses (our vintage bus) does not have a ramp. As it is used flexibly, this cannot always be planned in advance.

If you depend on accessibility, please let us know in advance – we're happy to help.

Usually, delays are caused by traffic or congestion.

Occasionally, road closures or events may also prevent stops from being served as planned – sometimes for extended periods.

If Rathausmarkt is affected, our buses usually stop in front of the HSV Shop (Schmiedestraße 2, diagonally opposite St. Petri Church). As soon as the stop is cleared, regular service resumes.

Yes, our buses generally run during major events.

Depending on the event, there may be changed departure times, diversions, or relocated stops – especially around Landungsbrücken.

Only during running events (Marathon, Half Marathon, and Alsterlauf) do our tours start from around 12:30 PM.

For events like Schlagermove or Christopher Street Day, it's best to arrive early – ideally by 11:30 AM at the latest.

Please note: Our buses do not run during the Cyclassics cycling race.
